Originally a member of the legendary but now defunct German industrial project Thorofon, Geneviève Pasquier released her first solo album in 2003. Her first release “Virgin Thoughts” caused enthusiastic reactions by both listeners and reviewers. People praised her mix of electronic, post-industrial music with 80s, minimal-electro combined with a frigid but soulful voice.

Geneviève Pasquier’s very specific sound developed and resulted in her signing on Ant-Zen, soon attracting an international fan-base. Subsequent releases on Ant-Zen including “Soap Bubble Factory” and “Virgin Pulses”, as well as her famous live performances, have made Geneviève Pasquier one of the most well-known female noise and industrial artists in the underground.
