Firstly we hope you are all keeping safe and well wherever you are in the world.

A number of you have been in contact to check what’s happening this August, so despite the lack of any real news we thought we should try to clarify the present situation.

The Present Situation

We’re pleased to report that the management of the venue and accommodation at the University are very much behind the event taking place, so we’re just waiting on the UK government confirmation that the June 21st Covid rules relaxation will go ahead. We don’t yet know if there will be any caveats around venue capacity or Covid testing.

If the event gets the go-ahead, the accommodation will be put back on sale (see above). Fingers crossed this is June, but please note that the dates quoted by the government are “no earlier than” so we shall wait and see.

“I want to buy my event ticket and accommodation together, but only event tickets are on sale at the moment.”

It need not cost you any more to buy your event ticket now and your on-site accommodation later:

There is no postage charge if you choose print-at-home. All booking fees to Gigantic are a percentage of what you book, so there’s no additional cost in securing your event ticket now and then booking your accommodation later, but of course it’s entirely up to you.

Refund Policy

Our ticket and accommodation refund policy is the same as for those who bought tickets for our 2020 show: If the event can’t go ahead in 2021 you can claim a face value refund from our ticket agent, Gigantic. If you don’t claim your refund, then your ticket will remain valid for the following year’s Infest.

If you want to book accommodation off-site, ie a hotel, we suggest that you choose a cancellable option just in case. If the event can’t go ahead, you’ll want the flexibility.
