STAY-IN-FEST 2021: Charity totals are here!

It seems like ages since we were in Bradford for STAY-IN-FEST 2021, but we finally have the certificates back from this year’s charities to share with you.

Another year and you’ve really impressed us with your generosity, yet again!

This year the total raised for charity from online and in person donations, as well as ticket and merch sales is…

…a whopping £8,249.55

We’ve split the total equally between our three very deserving charities, with each receiving £2,749.85

Thanks again to everyone who joined us live in Bradford and all the artists, DJs and crew who made for a great event at such short notice, despite the continuing covid concerns. It was fantastic to be joined by so many of you online as well. Hopefully we can all get together again in person, at Infest 2022. More news coming soon…

This year’s chosen charities:

CALM: The Campaign Against Living Miserably
CALM was first launched as a pilot by the Dept of Health in Manchester on 15 December 1997. The Campaign Against Living Miserably is leading a movement against suicide. Every week 125 people in the UK take their own lives. And 75% of all UK suicides are male.

RNLI: The Royal, National Lifeboat Institution
The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea. Powered primarily by kind donations, their search and rescue service has been saving lives for nearly 200 years. We have chosen to support the RNLI this year in particular, to highlight their humanitarian work in the English Channel, saving the lives of refugees who have been forced to flee their homes due to conflict and persecution.

PPWH: The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice
The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice provides free person-centred and family-focused palliative care and support to the people of Glasgow. We’ve chosen to support the PPWH as part of our collaboration with Beat:Cancer who continue to raise funds all year round for a range of cancer charities. In addition, Infest has always had a strong fanbase and following north of the border so we felt this was an excellent cause to support.
