Infest 2025 – Charity Bring and Buy Sale

This weekend is a great time for a clear-out, and to help some great causes too!

Seeking Bring and Buy Sale Donations!

This year we’re repeating our wonderfully successful Bring and Buy Sale, again 100% for charity. The system is easy!

Please bring donations of clothes, footwear, music or bric-a-brac, that fits the theme of spooky / goth / alternative. Bored of your old cyberdog fashion? New Rocks no longer fit? Bring them along! Ripped all of your old CDs and need the storage space…?

Don’t worry, any unsold donations will not be disposed of. Our good friends at Beat:Cancer will continue the Bring & Buy sale for charity, after the Infest weekend.

Bring your clean and sale-ready donations to the main venue on the Friday if possible. Please think ahead and try to clean and pack things nicely, so they’re ready for our team to put on sale. We probably won’t have access to things like a steamer etc on site… You are optionally invited to add a suggested donation value to items you donate, to help our team. We may reduce prices to clear the stock, but your input is valued and appreciated, especially if you know you have something special to donate that needs a new home. Thank you!

This Years’ Chosen Charities

Our chosen charities this year will be Samaritans and the Sophie Lancaster Foundation. 100% of the funds generated in this Bring & Buy Sale goes to charity. Here’s a little bit about these good causes:

SOPHIE

Support the Sophie Lancaster Foundation in their mission to stamp out prejudice, hatred, and intolerance everywhere. The charity works to promote tolerance and acceptance, celebrating differences and individuality. Visit the Sophie website, to read more.

Samaritans

The Samaritans vision is that fewer people die by suicide, and the Samaritans are there for anyone who needs someone at a difficult time. Talking saves lives. Visit the Samaritans Manchester and Salford Branch website, to read more.

Cash is King

We at Infest, and many of the traders at our Alternative Market, will accept card payments – of course its, 2025 after all – but if you *can* pay in cash, it means nothing is taken in fees – We know it’s something of a cliche, but “cash is king” – Thanks for your understanding 🙂
