We are very please to announce that:
MODULATE are confirmed for Infest 2026
It’s been 10 years since their last show but they are back!
Marking their 20th Anniversary we are thrilled to welcome Modulate to the Infest stage!
Modulate is Manchester DJ Geoff Lee in the studio, expanding to a live act with the addition of London based DJ Steve Nine. The sound of jacked up dirty beats at an old skool rave in a run down warehouse club with the best bass rig you’ve ever heard…arms reaching for the lasers while The Chemical Brothers, Nitzer Ebb, Knife Party and The Prodigy fight over who is coolest. After scoring dancefloor and chart success with his own material, Skullfuck EP, Robots EP and the Detonation LP, Modulate became one of the hottest remixers in the alternative dance/electro scene scoring chart success around the globe with mixes for bands such as Covenant, Suicide Commando, Aesthetic Perfection, Die Krupps, SAM, Soman etc.
Legendary Leeds club, The Wendy House
After learning his trade as a DJ in the Manchester indie and dance scene, and a residency at legendary Leeds club “The Wendy House” he has played at over 1200 events across 21 countries around the globe.
The band have supported Alec Empire (UK leg Past, Present, Future tour), VNV Nation (Judgement Tour) and Combichrist (What the Fuck is Wrong with You? Tour) as well as festival appearances and headline tours around the world, sharing the stage with bands such as Front 242, Frontline Assembly, Covenant, Die Krupps, Suicide Commando, etc.
The scene’s club hit of the year
Their debut Skullfuck EP went crashing straight into the German DAC alternative charts and was described as “the scene’s club hit of the year” in ReGen magazine (USA). Their debut full length release, Detonation, was released in late 2008, receiving rave reviews in the media and finding it’s way into DJ boxes across the globe. The album spent nearly 2 months in both the Top 10 of the German Alternative Chart (DAC) and the Dutch Underground Chart (DUC) and was voted by DJ’s into the DAC Top 50 albums of 2008.
Modulate returned with the Robots EP in July 2012. The EP was greeted with rave reviews in the media, topping sales charts in the US and Europe, including 2 months in the Top 10 of the German Alternative Chart, peaking at number 3.
The Battle of Kyiv
Then everything slammed to a halt. Due to raising his twin daughters, Geoff (and Modulate) took an extended break from 2015 to 2025, with only the occasional remix and the film score to the award winning documentary “The Battle of Kyiv”. Now they are back with a new album and a full AV live show, hard, heavy and as charged as ever. Expect them.
