Artist Banner Here

Lovelorn Dolls are a dark synth–goth–metal project from Brussels, combining distorted guitars, haunting female vocals and electro-pop textures within a uniquely twisted, creepy-cute aesthetic. Drawing on influences such as The Birthday Massacre, Lacuna Coil and KMFDM, their music walks the line between gothic melancholy and infectious energy. Since forming in Belgium, the band have released several albums on Alfa Matrix and toured extensively across Europe, delivering immersive live shows that pair striking visual presentation with deep emotional intensity.

Fronted by the powerful and expressive voice of Kristell Lowagie, and shaped by the edgy compositions of Bernard Daubresse, the band draws inspiration from gothic rock, darkwave, and 90s alternative music. Their universe is deeply visual—where horror meets pop culture, and melancholy wears glitter.

Deadtime Stories

Their latest release, Deadtime Stories, arrived in May 2024 via Alfa Matrix and is a dark fairytale concept album inspired by childhood nightmares and gothic pop culture. The record includes the singles Beautiful Chaos, Diary of Nothing and Broken Dreams, which exemplify the band’s blend of brooding atmosphere and melodic hooks.

Lovelorn Dolls have performed at major festivals including Castle Party Festival 2025 in Poland, Eurorock, FemME (Female Metal Event) & more, and have shared stages with acts such as Anathema, Lacuna Coil, Xandria, Cradle of Filth and Front 242. Known for their theatrical performances and vivid storytelling, they have built a reputation for shows that are as visually compelling as they are sonically powerful.

For fans of The Birthday Massacre, Lacuna Coil, Blutengel, Evanescence and Combichrist.
