Infest is the UK’s biggest and longest running alternative electronic music event.
We typically include EBM, industrial, rhythmic noise, synthpop, darkwave and other subgenres adjacent to the goth and industrial scene.
Who We Are
We started back in 1998 with a group of students, and we have a great reputation with fans and artists alike. Read more about our history here.
What We Do
Infest showcases genre-defining and well respected acts from the 1980s to the present day. We have artists and customers travelling from as far as Canada, the USA, Central and South America and Australia, as well as from all over Europe and the Nordic countries. Infest really brings people together!
Infest is a live music event that wants to support the alternative and goth-industrial adjacent music scene. In addition to the live music on our stages and the DJs in our club rooms, we actively support the lifestyle with market traders and a shopping opportunity for our ticket holders.
What Makes Infest Special
Our customers come to the show for the chance to see some very significant and influential acts alongside new talent. Our artists perform on an impeccably run stage, in intimate and friendly surroundings, with our respected production and hospitality values.
We typically focus our artist bookings on UK premier shows and exclusive performances, as well as providing an opportunity for home-grown talent to share a stage with established names.
We pride ourselves on being a safe place for attendees to express themselves without judgement, in friendly surroundings. We are an accessible event and try to be as considerate as possible to our customers with physical and neurodiverse needs.
Charity
In addition to our enjoyment of the music and alternative culture, we are proud to support a number of charities each year. We’ve been around for 25 years and in the last few years we’ve donated over £75,000 since 2012. Read more about our charity donations here.
The Team
Mark is in charge of artist bookings, all things technical, merchandise and venue liaison. We have a fantastic technical crew and extremely supportive army of volunteers, who make the show possible. Many of our crew have grown with us and have enjoyed decades working in the music industry, with their careers following our own.
