TRADE TERMS & CONDITIONS

PLEASE READ ALL OF THE TERMS & CONDITIONS AS SET OUT BELOW BEFORE PAYING

  1. The positioning of Stallholders is at the absolute discretion of the organisers. Stall sizes and square footage including rails must be pre-agreed with our markets team and must be adhered to when on site.
  2. Walkways and marked fire exits must be always kept clear. Stallholders are asked to clear away all bags, boxes, and unused equipment before the event opens. You must leave your area clear of all rubbish on departure – failure to do so could result in a ban from future events.
  3. The organisers do not accept responsibility for loss or damage to any property brought to the event or any personal injury however caused. Stallholders are urged to take out their own insurance to cover any eventuality.
  4. The organisers reserve the right to refuse bookings.
  5. Stallholders should not pack away or move stock to their vehicles before the advertised closing time as this contravenes health & safety rules.
  6. Adult Weaponry and Prohibited Items – It is important for our events to celebrate the diversity of alternative subcultures. Traders who sell cosplay, steampunk, LARP replica weapons are welcome to trade these items but must follow legal requirements and our code of conduct:

    • No bladed items will be permitted in the venue space either for sale or on the person.
    • If you trade Fake firearms they must comply with current legislation and meet UK legal requirements.
    • Traders must be respectful to the venue space as this is a public area.

    Government Guidelines:

If you trade weaponry, you must be aware of and follow the VCRA (Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006) and regulations on the sale of firearms and other weaponry.

Steampunk replica weaponry looks markedly different from actual firearms. We request the traders use discretion on how these items are displayed and handled. A sign must be displayed, stating that items are replicas and/or part of a subcultural genre.

Deactivated firearms and modern replicas are not permitted to be sold at the event.

  7. Adult items, offensive words, sex toys and fetish wear – We support and celebrate people who choose to follow an alternative subculture through lifestyle and dress. We will not tolerate any prejudice or intolerance towards people who follow an alternative lifestyle. Please be mindful that this is a sex and fetish-positive event. Art, crafts, pin badges, T-shirts, books, memorabilia or novelty items that contain sexual imagery and/or profanity may be sold.
  8. Items that contain offensive images, words, or hateful propaganda – Traders are prohibited from trading items that promote prejudice or that incite hate. This includes, but is not limited to Nazi propaganda, fascist materials or anything that glorifies colonialism.
  9. CANCELLATION POLICY – Once booked and paid for, the stall fee is non-refundable and only transferable to a future event, at the organisers’ discretion.
  10. TRADER PASSES – Trade Passes allow you access to the festival, this must not come as a sacrifice to the market experience for festival ticket holders. Don’t just close your stall to attend the event. Any trader caught requesting or purchasing additional passes for people not working, to bypass standard event ticketing, will result in a ban from future events.

We want our events to be accessible, promote tolerance, and encourage a sense of community.
