Dark music for dark people!
With a vast array of elements in their arsenal VAC are still surprising us as their dark, densely layered, complex and atmospheric sound traces a fine line between trance, EBM, industrial, and noise.
Influences ranging from classics Legendary Pink Dots, the Cure, Skinny Puppy, Sisters of Mercy Orbital through Enigma, Juno Reactor, Ladytron, Portishead and Massive Attack inspired hypnotic trip-hop grooves to the brutal metal assault of Napalm Death, Godflesh, and Metallica.
Highlighting a number of social issues, including animal rights, the rights of women, and the rights of homosexuals and their concern regarding the basic survival of mankind against the onslaught of technology it is fair to say even after all this time the core of their sound is still being played with – not content to rest on their laurels and pump out more of the same – always striving to break out of their restraints and create something new and refreshing.
Angry and at other times haunting vocals are forged to aggressive electronics, incessant beats, permeating melodies, relentless bass lines, obscure samples…
Dance music with edge, drugs, anti mainstream, anti religious underground music for freaks and mind exploration.
VAC cover all the bases in their own very unique style.
