Our third batch of DJs determined to get your body moving:
DJ Borg – the alter ego of Peter Mastbooms, entered the music scene somewhere in 1985. Co-founder of the now renowned cult new-wave club “The Phantom” in the North of Antwerp, Belgium. In various bands, and over three decades and many, many promotions later BORG is also well known as the brains behind Peek-a-boo Magazine, BIMfest and as sound engineer for some seminal Wave, EBM and Industrial acts including A SPLIT-SECOND, DIVE, INSEKT, THE KLINIK, SONAR, MONOLITH, THE NEON JUDGEMENT, NEON ELECTRONICS, SNOWY RED, IMPLANT, 32CRASH and occasionally also for HOCCICO, PORTION CONTROL, PROCEED, RABIA SORDA, SHEEP ON DRUGS, MARTIN DEGVILLE’S SIGUE SIGUE SPUTNIK, SERVERED HEADS, SUICIDE. DJ Simon Briggs – Having witnessed the birth of Infest Festival back in 1998 it’s a pleasure to have Simon in our DJ booth this year. His latest DJ project is Exit The Grey, which he co-DJs with another London stalwart, Victoria Fenbane. Simon has previously held a residence at London’s iconic Slimelight and Beat Nation in Belgium. His list of international guest appearances is up there with the best including Tokyo, New York, Athens, Dusseldorf, Malmo’s ElecriXmas, EuroRock near Eindhoven and we can’t wait to hear him at Castle Party in Poland in a few weeks…
DJ Zombie Chris – Rising from the grave when a group of locals played XP-8 in reverse, DJ Zombie Chris was born. Since that fateful day, he has shuffled, groaned and chomped my way to being a Resident DJ at Projekt Nemesis in Leeds, Club Recall in Peterborough and the registered charity Beat:Cancer. He has also guest Dj’d the Corporation, The Scala and Electrowerkz; for Dark7, Cybersonik, Infest and along-side Gary Numan and Ade Fenton. Expect classic dance-floor fillers and new bands, especially from the blossoming UK scene. In his efforts to understand human behaviour, he has noted that music speaks a universal language which is something he hopes to master while eating your brains!
