Ali* (Ali-star) is the founder and resident DJ at cult bi-monthly free party ‘No Alternative’ in Bristol. As well as 2019’s Infest, Ali* has played guest slots in London, New York, Manchester, Nottingham and Bristol, and has been a resident DJ at numerous goth/alternative nights in the South West over the years.
From new releases right back to obscure ’80s wonders.. Highly danceable and equally weird sets with an eclectic mix of post-punk, coldwave, goth, minimal-synth, darkwave, italo disco and oldschool industrial.
When not DJing, Ali* is busy playing Bass for UK EBM/Goth act Goteki and discovering new music. Despite his love of bleak industrial wastelands and concrete, he also just really loves cute dogs.
