You’ve no doubt heard the latest UK government announcement today. Restrictions may be lifted, but this now means we don’t have the law to support continued safety measures. The pandemic is not over and as such we feel it’s our responsibility to do the right thing for everyone’s safety. This includes the venue staff, performers, crew and of course you, the Infest family.
We just don’t know what the covid situation will be in seven weeks time, in terms of infection rates, hospitalisations and deaths. We of course hope the vaccine programme has the desired effect but we need to know for sure before we plan a return to the busy indoor festival we know and love.
Doing the right thing
With not enough time to plan a full weekend show, and not enough data to know we’re all going to be safe, the Infest team have decided to organise another one day stay-in-fest event, but this time with a twist..!
We are in negotiaton with the University to host a very special show live from Bradford, to be broadcast as a livestream. This time we are hoping to make it extra special by recording and presenting it from our home at Bradford University, on Saturday 28th August.
Livestream one day event
We’re in constant communication with the venue and accommodation teams, and if the University allows us, we will add a live audience, however we won’t know if this is possible until nearer the date, inspite of today’s annoucement.
Potential limited audience attendance
Therefore, ALL weekend tickets and accommodation are rolled over to 2022. Whether you bought in 2020 or 2021, you can claim a face value refund by contacting Gigantic before the end of 2021, or sit tight and keep your tickets and we’ll see you face to face in August 2022.
Stay tuned for the livestream event schedule and artist announcements!
…remember, there is a possibility of a limited number of tickets to attend this one day, unique Infest experience. Make sure you are on our mailing list if you want to take part.
Take care and stay safe.
