Red meat is a project founded in 2020, it straddles the gap between 90s wax trax sensibilities, and techno based rhythms. They draw influence from the Berlin club scene, the Power Noise movement of the early 2000’s and Electronic Body Music, to create a heavy, over the top and uncompromising rhythmic assault on the ears combined with a proudly queer aesthetic.

Red Meat is Body Techno written by a big fat sweaty queer who is now very comfortable in the fact he’s a big fat sweaty queer after many years of feeling uncomfortable in both his sweatyness and his queerness.
It’s unapologetically sordid, intentionally graphic and aims to rub as many faces as possible in the fact not all queers are academic, well read and versed in Jean Paul Satré, some of us still live our entire lives hidden in small town shitholes with limited resources or methods for escaping said shitholes. We work in warehouses where every fucking day is a pitch battle that no one wants to know about, that’s not supposed to be part of the brochure.
