STAY-IN-FEST 2021: This year’s chosen charities

This year we don’t have the facilities to provide a raffle and physical prizes, so in return for organising our free-to-view hybrid live/online festival, we’ll be asking fans and viewers to donate to our chosen good causes and to support our artists, DJ’s and clubs.

Good Causes

This year’s chosen charities are:

CALM: The Campaign Against Living Miserably
CALM was first launched as a pilot by the Dept of Health in Manchester on 15 December 1997. The Campaign Against Living Miserably is leading a movement against suicide. Every week 125 people in the UK take their own lives. And 75% of all UK suicides are male.

RNLI: The Royal, National Lifeboat Institution
The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea. Powered primarily by kind donations, their search and rescue service has been saving lives for nearly 200 years. We have chosen to support the RNLI this year in particular, to highlight their humanitarian work in the English Channel, saving the lives of refugees who have been forced to flee their homes due to conflict and persecution.

PPWH: The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice
The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice provides free person-centred and family-focused palliative care and support to the people of Glasgow. We’ve chosen to support the PPWH as part of our collaboration with Beat:Cancer who continue to raise funds all year round for a range of cancer charities. In addition, Infest has always had a strong fanbase and following north of the border so we felt this was an excellent cause to support.

Donate

Please send donations via our Streamlabs tips.

Remember, many of our artists are having a tough time as a direct result of the pandemic, with the worldwide collapse of the music industry due to quarantine and the closure of many venues and events. If you can’t donate to artists directly, please buy their merchandise and music!

Thank you.
