Infest 2017 – On Site Parking & Cash Advice

Dear Infest-goers,

A Small Daily Parking Fee

After many years of free on site parking, University of Bradford Security have decided to enforce their parking regulations over the Infest weekend this year and to charge a parking fee for vehicles left on campus.

The current expectation is that they will charge £5 per car per day, which isn’t going to break the bank but is frustrating. We are still in discussions regarding this with the venue and UoB Security but we felt we should let you know in advance so there are no surprises on the day.

We would still suggest parking on site for the weekend as it is probably the most convenient, safest place to park and even with this charge one of the cheapest places to park in the area, but of course all vehicles are left at your own risk and never leave valuables on show.

For the University car park, set your Sat Nav for BD7 1SR.

Look for updates regarding this and follow any official University signage and the instructions of the University Security Staff who will advise you where and how to pay if this charge is introduced.

CASH MONEY

Please note that the venue bar will NOT be able to take card payments. Please ensure you have cash with you for drinks, food, market and merchandise sales.

There are cash machines on Great Horton Road and there should be a machine in the venue too, however it may not stay fully stocked for long!

Some traders will have card facilities however we don’t have a definitive list available.
